@ Danka:
You can find the answers to most of your questions with a bit of google & wikipedia research; but in a nutshell, our schools, health care, and childcare are all publicly and federally funded. We have one of the best health care systems in the world.
Property and real estate are inflated in most major urban centres (Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa), but reasonable in lesser cities (Calgary, London, Montreal).
Jobs and employment are readily available for skilled workers, especially for those trained in health care.
Racism exists in every country, in every city - and Canada is not immune - but in Canada we are a much more inclusive, welcoming (compared to our neighbours to the south of us) and diverse society. Our Federal Minister of National Defence is Harjit Singh Sajjan, and a strong contender for the Federal NDP Party (a major political party here in Canada) is Jagmeet Singh.
And our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appointed the first gender parity Federal cabinet - with 15 female cabinet ministers - to ensure that women and girls have equal status and equal representation in all walks of Canadian society.
Hope that helps!
Thanks Trey. I've sent a PM.
There are a few points I'm interested in:
Apologies for cutting off abruptly; my cat was on my keyboard and made me send the message before I was done.
As I was going to continue with saying: it also depends on where you are coming from. Some countries are easier to immigrate from.
If you have further questions or discussion for me, please do not hesitate to send me a message. I'm more than happy to answer where I can.

I'm from Canada. Sarnia, Ontario, to be exact. I am more than a bit biased, since I'm not Sikhi in birth, but I find the quality of life here to be exceptional, and I have found the community, even in this small city, to be quite tight.
As with anywhere, though, it depends on where in Canada you are planning to go. Canada is an enormous country, and different provinces will have different feelings to them. I can help with information about Ontario and a little about Quebec
, but I could not tell you about the other provinces, since I don't live there and have never been there.
Hi All, Who
is living in Canada? I'm looking for some information about quality of life in Canada? Can someone advise me?
Hello from the beautiful pacific northwest! Nordland is a TINY town northwest of Seattle.
If you have any suggestions or would like to report something or someone, please send me a message.
